Wandering in Wando

During the warmer seasons, a lot of people here in Seoul want to get out of the city and enjoy the fresh air. Busan, which is at the southwestern part of South Korea, is a famous destination. Did you know that there are lots of places to see in the southeastern area as well? One of which is Cheongsando, an island in Wando County. It takes about 5 hours to get to Wando and another one-hour ferry ride from Wando to Cheongsando. It’s quite a long trip (I went there during Thanksgiving and it took 7 hours!! Lol) but once you get to the island, you will surely forget the busy life in the city and understand why this place is one of the few places in the world that is designated as Slow City. 🙂
